Our Story
Tucked into a small storefront on S Seguin Rd, Leah's Mexican Restaurant has become the kind of place regulars call their own. It's unassuming from the outside — the kind of spot people describe as a "hole in the wall" — but step through the door and you'll find a warm, family-run kitchen turning out plates that taste like they came from someone's abuela. Guests keep coming back for gorditas that remind them of their late mother's or grandmother's cooking, and for a menudo that locals swear by.
Every day starts early, with the griddle firing up at 6 AM to serve breakfast plates to early risers before the lunch rush takes over. The tortillas are made fresh, the beans are simmered slow, and the salsa is blended in-house with a flavor guests describe as "moderately spicy with a great flavor." Whether you're stopping in for Taco Tuesday, a sizzling fajita skillet, or a heaping plate of shrimp tacos, the kitchen treats every order like it matters — because here, it does.
Leah's isn't about flash — it's about consistency, warmth, and food made with care. The owner and staff greet regulars by name, keep the line moving even when the dining room fills up with a party of eight, and make sure every plate leaves the kitchen looking (and tasting) the way it should. That's why, in a town with no shortage of options, Leah's has quietly become a Converse favorite.
